Over £100,000-worth of drugs recovered in South Cumbrian police raid
Drugs with an estimated street value of more than £100,000 have been seized during a police raid in South Cumbria.
Officers from the area intelligence team, task force and neighbourhood policing team carried out an early morning warrant in Kendal on Thursday under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
A number of arrests were made during the operation, and police said enquiries are ongoing.
South Lakes Police confirmed that, in addition to drugs and related paraphernalia, officers also seized an e bike. It is believed the bike had been involved in nuisance incidents in Kendal town centre in recent weeks.
