Cumbria Police Reveal Speed Camera Van Locations for Friday
Cumbria Police have announced the locations of mobile speed camera vans operating across the county on Friday, March 27, as part of ongoing efforts to improve road safety.
Drivers are being urged to remain cautious and adhere to speed limits, with enforcement taking place in a number of busy routes and towns. The presence of these vans is aimed at reducing speeding and preventing accidents across the region.
According to the latest update, camera vans will be active in Barrow, Walney, and Kirkby-in-Furness. Additional monitoring is being carried out along major roads including the A6 between Penrith and Kendal, the A685 between Tebay and Brough, and the M6 between junctions 39 and 36.
Other areas covered include the A66 west of Penrith, the A5086 between Cockermouth and Egremont, as well as within Cockermouth itself.
Police regularly publish these locations to raise awareness and encourage safer driving habits. Motorists are advised to plan journeys carefully and follow all traffic regulations to avoid penalties and ensure safety for all road users.
