Barrow Raiders Look To Bounce Back Against Sheffield In Championship Play-Off
Barrow Raiders will be looking for a strong response when they welcome Sheffield for their second Championship play-off fixture, following a difficult opening game in the competition.
The Raiders suffered a heavy 72-0 defeat away to Doncaster in their qualifying round match, with the hosts running in 12 tries during a one-sided contest. All 12 tries were converted by Connor Robinson, who produced a perfect kicking performance.

Sheffield secured their place in the next stage of the play-offs with a comeback victory over Batley. They had been trailing 10-4 on home territory before recovering to win the contest 25-18 and earn a trip to Barrow.
The two sides are already familiar with each other from their Championship meetings earlier in the season. Barrow suffered a 22-6 defeat when they travelled to Sheffield, giving the hosts an advantage in their first meeting.
The return fixture at Barrow was considerably closer, with the Raiders eventually securing an 18-16 victory. That result demonstrated how evenly matched the teams can be when they meet and gives Barrow reason to believe they can compete strongly on home ground.
