Winners Crowned At Prestigious Cumbria Sports Awards 2026

The Cumbria Sports Awards 2026 have celebrated the region’s top sporting talent with winners crowned at a prestigious ceremony recognising outstanding achievement across all levels of sport.

The annual event brought together athletes coaches volunteers and community clubs who have all made a significant impact on sport across the county.

Awards were presented across multiple categories including Sports Personality of the Year Coach of the Year Young Sports Person and Community Sport Awards highlighting excellence dedication and hard work throughout the year.

Organisers praised the winners for their commitment passion and contribution to sport in Cumbria noting that the standard of nominations was exceptionally high once again.

The ceremony also recognised individuals and teams who have gone beyond achievement in their sport to support community development inclusion and youth participation.
