Vehicle Vandalised as Tyres Slashed in Workington

Police have launched an investigation after a car was deliberately damaged in Workington.

The incident involved a red Skoda Felicia, which was parked near Borough Park, the home ground of Workington Reds football club. All four tyres of the vehicle were found slashed.

The damage is believed to have taken place between 1:00pm and 2:50pm on Saturday, April 4.

Officers are now appealing for witnesses and are asking anyone who was in the area at the time or who may have seen suspicious activity to come forward.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police online or call 101, quoting incident number 133 of April 4, 2026. Information can also be given anonymously through Crimestoppers.
