Teenager Remains in Serious Condition Following A6 Crash

A 17-year-old pedestrian remains in a serious condition in hospital after being involved in a road traffic collision on the A6 in Cumbria.

The incident occurred at around 10pm on May 1 near Milestone House, north of Penrith. The collision involved a white Audi and the teenage boy.

Emergency services, including an air ambulance, attended the scene and the injured teenager was taken to hospital, where he continues to receive treatment.

Police confirmed that the driver of the Audi stopped at the scene and is cooperating with officers.

An investigation into the circumstances of the crash is ongoing. Authorities are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage from the area at the time to come forward to assist with enquiries.
