Teen Robbed of Mountain Bike by Group in Workington

A teenager was left shaken after a group of youths stole their mountain bike while they were on a bridge in Workington.

The incident occurred on Northside Bridge on the evening of Saturday, March 28. According to police, a group of teenagers approached the victim and took the bike before leaving the scene. The victim was not physically injured during the incident.

Officers are now appealing to the public for help in locating the stolen bicycle, described as a silver men’s Raleigh mountain bike with a distinctive white seat.

Police have asked anyone who may have seen the bike being ridden or abandoned in the area after around 10:15pm to come forward. Information can be reported by contacting authorities and quoting the relevant incident reference.

Investigations are ongoing as officers work to identify those involved and recover the stolen property.
