Silver Dream Secures 14th Win of the Season at Bridekirk Meeting

Silver Dream delivered another standout performance at the Bride Kirk HTRA meeting, securing her 14th win of the season in the Seniors race and reinforcing her status as one of the leading competitors in the championship standings.

The favourite, trained and managed by Darren and Julie McMaster alongside Anthony Skelton, was positioned among the leaders for much of the race. As the field moved through the opening stages, Silver Dream tracked closely behind early pace-setters before gradually moving into contention.

Turning for home, the leading group remained tightly packed, with several contenders still in with a chance. However, Silver Dream produced her trademark strong finish on the long run-in, powering through the final stages to take control and secure a decisive victory.

She crossed the line clear of her nearest rival, Countess Ava, with Mel finishing in third place after another competitive display.

The Bridekirk fixture attracted a strong field across multiple categories, with competitive races also staged for Pups, Open Maidens, and Veterans, highlighting the depth of talent on display throughout the meeting.

Silver Dream’s continued dominance underlines her consistency this season as she remains a key contender in the ongoing series.
