Search Continues for Woman Missing Since September 2025

Police and search teams are continuing their efforts to find a woman who has been missing since September 2, 2025. The missing woman, Alexandra Harrod, 47, from Seaton near Workington in Cumbria, was last seen in the area on that day, and enquiries into her disappearance remain ongoing.
According to police and volunteer rescue organisations, enquiries have traced her movements on the morning she went missing. CCTV footage reportedly captured her at a Costa Coffee on King Street in Whitehaven at around 11.20am on September 2. She was seen wearing dark tracksuit pants, a dark padded jacket and carrying a dark coloured rucksack.
Alexandra is described as a white woman with short dark hair. Police have repeated public appeals for information about her current location and have asked anyone who may have seen her, or has relevant details, to contact Cumbria police on 101. Officers have also urged Alexandra herself to make contact if she sees the appeal.
Her disappearance has prompted ongoing searches by both official emergency services and volunteer groups, as the community and authorities work to piece together what happened after her last confirmed sighting nearly five months ago.
