Police Investigate Vandalism Spree in Bowness on Windermere
Cumbria Police are appealing for information following a reported vandalism spree in Bowness-on-Windermere.
Officers were called at around 10am on 3 August after a number of incidents of criminal damage were reported around Bowness Promenade.
The damage included rubbish bins being overturned, with waste left scattered across a beach. Signs were also sprayed with shaving foam, while traffic cones were placed on lamp posts and plants were removed from their planters.
Police are now trying to identify a man who was captured on CCTV in the area between approximately 11.30pm and 1.53am on the same date.
Officers are asking anyone who witnessed the incidents, or anyone who was in the area at the time and may have information, to come forward.

The investigation remains ongoing as officers work to establish who was responsible for the damage.
