Police Investigate Multiple Car Break-Ins Across Kendal Overnight
KENDAL, UK, Police are investigating a series of car break-ins and attempted break-ins reported across the Kendal area overnight between January 21 and 22.
Authorities have confirmed that several incidents have been reported in locations including Hallgarth, Kirkbarrow and the Waterside areas of the town.
Officers are urging residents with doorbell camera, CCTV or dashcam footage from the overnight hours to review their recordings in case they contain any information that could help with the investigation. Police are particularly keen to hear from anyone who captured footage of two males wearing dark clothing in the areas where the incidents occurred.
Anyone who believes they may have relevant information or footage is asked to report it via the Cumbria Constabulary’s online reporting system, quoting incident number 34 of 22 January 2026, or by calling 101.
