Police Appeal for Witnesses After Serious Barrow Assault
Barrow-in-Furness Cumbria Police are appealing for information from the public following a serious assault that took place in the early hours of 27 December 2025 on Cavendish Street. Officers say the victim, a 23-year-old local man, sustained significant head injuries in the attack and was taken to hospital, where he has since been released following treatment.
Two men one aged 28 and another aged 23, both from Barrow were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) in connection with the assault. They have been released on bail pending further inquiries as police continue their investigation.
