Police Appeal for Public Help to Find Man Wanted on Recall to Prison
Cumbria Police have made a public appeal for assistance in locating a man wanted on recall to prison, following an official notice issued this week.
The individual, David Wardle, 43, from Maryport, is being actively sought by police. Wardle is wanted on recall to prison, a measure typically enforced when a person breaches terms of their licence or release conditions.
Police are urging members of the public who may have seen Wardle or know his possible whereabouts to contact Cumbria Police with any information that could assist in his apprehension. Reports can be filed through the force’s online reporting system or by calling 101.
In addition, individuals can provide information anonymously through Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111.
Police have not released further details about the circumstances leading to Wardle’s recall but emphasise that public cooperation is crucial in locating individuals wanted on recall warrants.
Officers continue to investigate the case and are urging vigilance across the region.
