Off‑Road Motorcyclist Rescued After Fall in Lake District
Cumbria, UK. A motorcyclist riding off road in the Lake District was rescued after sustaining injuries in a fall earlier this month.
Rescue teams from the Keswick Mountain Rescue Team were called to the Old Coach Road at around 3:30 pm on March 5, the green lane connecting Dockray and St Johns in the Vale, following reports that the rider had fallen and injured his back while trying to lift his fallen motorcycle.
Volunteers assessed the injured rider at the scene and helped to right the motorcycle before bringing him to safety. The rescue operation drew support from members of the local motorcycling community, who assisted the team during the response.
