A Barrow man has been left stunned after his online travel profile exploded in popularity, racking up more than 820,000 views in a matter of months.
Tony Howson, who regularly shares photos from his trips across the UK and Europe, says he is “proud” and “flattered” that so many people have taken an interest in his work.
What began as a personal collection of snapshots has quickly turned into a widely viewed gallery, drawing attention from thousands of users who enjoy his eye for scenery, landmarks and hidden gems.
“It’s amazing to think that something I started for fun has reached so many people,” Tony said. “I never expected this kind of response.”
Born and raised in Barrow, Tony now has his sights set on reaching a major milestone, one million views.
“Getting to a million would be incredible,” he added.
