Lakeland Wildlife Oasis Plans Return Of Festive Market.
Lakeland Wildlife Oasis is preparing for the return of its festive market as the popular South Cumbrian attraction looks ahead to the Christmas season.
The wildlife park, located at Hale near Milnthorpe, is home to more than 100 species of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish and invertebrates. It combines wildlife exhibits with interactive displays and outdoor areas for visitors to explore.
The return of the festive market is expected to provide visitors with another reason to visit the attraction during the run-up to Christmas, while supporting the atmosphere of the seasonal period. Lakeland Wildlife Oasis is operated by The Lakeland Trust for Natural Sciences, a registered charity which focuses on education and conservation of wildlife and wild spaces. The attraction is conveniently located just five minutes from M6 Junction 35, making it accessible for visitors travelling from across South Cumbria, the wider Lake District and surrounding areas. It sits within the Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The wildlife attraction also runs a programme of seasonal and family activities throughout the year. Recent events have included themed days featuring crafts, trails, activities and opportunities for visitors to learn more about wildlife.
