Lake District Chef Competes in Great British Menu Finals Week

A chef from the Lake District is competing in finals week of the BBC’s Great British Menu, one of the UK’s most prestigious culinary competitions.

The competition brings together top chefs from across the country, who must create high-level dishes inspired this year by the British film industry, while also highlighting regional identity and local produce.

The Lake District chef, representing the Northwest, earned a place in the finals after progressing through the regional heats, where chefs are judged on creativity, technical skill, and storytelling through food.
