Heartfelt Tributes Paid to Motorcyclist Who Lost Life in A6 Collision
Tributes have been pouring in for a 38‑year‑old motorcyclist who tragically died after a collision on the A6 near Mossdale Services, close to Carnforth. Joseph “Joe” Hough, of Morecambe, lost his life in the accident on Saturday 3 January, when the motorcycle he was riding was involved in a crash with a Ford Focus at around 11:35 am.
Loved ones have described Joe as a beacon of light in their lives, whose warmth, kindness and faith left a lasting impact on those around him. In a moving tribute, his family shared their heartbreak:
“My brother and friend. With a heavy heart I share the passing of my beloved little brother ‘Bear’ Joe. More than a brother, you were my best friend, confidant, and a constant light. Life feels quieter and empty now, but your memory will live on in the stories and moments we shared. Rest in peace, little bro.”
Another family tribute highlighted Joe’s character:
“Uncle Bear was a man of deep faith, integrity, and warmth. He was a constant source of joy in the good ones. His legacy of kindness will never be forgotten.”
