Fleeing Driver Found In Bog After Losing Crocs During Carlisle Police Chase
A police pursuit near Carlisle ended when a fleeing driver was found in boggy ground after losing one of his Crocs.
The incident happened in the Crosby on Eden area after a vehicle failed to stop for officers in Carlisle. The occupants then abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot into open ground, prompting police to begin a search of the surrounding area.

Police confirmed that two people were taken into custody following the incident. Both were arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, failing to stop for police and drug driving.
