Closure Order Issued for Ulverston Home After Reports of Anti-Social Behaviour

Police have secured a closure order for a residential property on Sun Street in Ulverston following repeated reports of anti-social behaviour and violence affecting neighbours and the wider community.

Officers from South Lakes Police’s neighbourhood team obtained the order on Friday, 27 March, after receiving multiple complaints about nuisance and disorder linked to the address. The closure order, which is designed to prevent further disturbance, makes it a criminal offence for anyone other than authorised persons such as police or the landlord to enter the property while it remains in force.

In a statement, police emphasised their commitment to protecting vulnerable residents and maintaining community safety, saying they will take all necessary action to tackle behaviour that causes distress to local people.
