CCTV Images Released Following West Cumbrian Burglary Investigation

12 May 2026 CCTV Images Released Following West Cumbrian Burglary Investigation

Police investigating a burglary in West Cumbria have released CCTV images of individuals they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

The break-in occurred at a property in the West Cumbria area, where offenders gained entry and carried out a theft before leaving the scene. Officers believe the incident took place during a time when the property was unoccupied.

Following initial enquiries, police have reviewed available CCTV footage from the surrounding area and identified individuals they believe may be able to assist with the investigation. Images have now been made public in an effort to help establish their identities.

Investigators are appealing to anyone who recognises the people shown in the CCTV or who may have been in the area at the time of the burglary to come forward. They are also asking residents and businesses to check any private CCTV or dashcam footage that may assist enquiries.

Police have stressed that even small details could prove vital in helping to progress the investigation and bring those responsible to account.

The investigation remains ongoing, and officers continue to carry out follow-up enquiries in the local area.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police via the usual reporting channels, quoting the relevant incident reference number, or to contact Crimestoppers anonymously.
