Carlisle United Sign Former Stockport County Winger Connor Lemonheigh-Evans

Carlisle United have strengthened their squad after completing the signing of midfielder Connor Lemonheigh-Evans on a two year contract today.

The 27 year old joins the Blues after leaving Stockport County, where he helped the club achieve promotion in recent seasons. The move reunites Lemonheigh-Evans with Carlisle as the club continues preparations for the upcoming National League campaign.

Lemonheigh-Evans began his career with Bristol City before enjoying successful spells with several clubs, including Torquay United, Hereford, and Stockport County. Known for his creativity, work rate, and versatility, he is capable of operating both centrally and in wide attacking positions.

Speaking after completing the move, Lemonheigh-Evans said he was excited to join Carlisle United and was looking forward to playing in front of the supporters at Brunton Park. He added that the club's ambition matched his own desire to compete for promotion.

Head coach John Sheridan welcomed the signing, describing Lemonheigh-Evans as an experienced player who will bring quality, energy, and leadership to the squad. Sheridan believes the midfielder's Football League experience will be valuable throughout the season.
