Armed Police Deployed After Stabbing Incident in Kendal
Armed police were deployed to a residential area in Kendal following a stabbing incident on Friday morning.
According to Cumbria Police, officers were called to Aspen Close at around 9:30am on April 3 after reports of an assault involving a knife. A man in his 20s sustained a stab wound to his hand.
Emergency services attended the scene, and the victim’s injuries were later confirmed to be non-life-threatening. Cumbria Police said armed officers were deployed as a precaution due to the nature of the incident.
Police have launched an investigation and are carrying out enquiries in the area. Residents have been advised they may notice an increased police presence while searches continue.
Authorities also reassured the public that there is currently no perceived threat to the wider community.
