Appeal Launched for Missing 17‑Year‑Old Believed to Be in West Cumbria
Police have issued an urgent appeal to the public to help locate Jack Johnston, a 17‑year‑old from the Lancashire area who is currently missing and believed to be in West Cumbria.
Jack was last seen in Preston on March 23, 2026, but officers now believe he may have travelled to the Maryport area.
Described as white, approximately 6 ft 5 in tall and of a slim build, Jack has short, mouse‑coloured hair. At the time of his disappearance he was wearing a grey hat and carrying a black bag.
Police are urging anyone who has seen Jack or has information on his whereabouts to come forward. Reports can be made online via the Cumbria Police website or by calling 101, quoting incident number 45 of 24 March 2026.
