Cumbria Officers Issue Fresh Wanted Appeal
Cumbria Police have issued an appeal for information on several individuals currently wanted in the county, as part of a festive-period crackdown on crime. The force aims to advance a number of ongoing investigations and ensure offenders are brought to justice.
Since the appeal was launched on December 1, officers have arrested three people and located another.
Detective Inspector Dave Howard said: “We are asking for the public’s help to trace these individuals. Our officers are actively searching for them, but information from the community is often crucial in helping us secure justice for victims.
The wanted appeals relate to a range of ongoing investigations. People in Cumbria will know where some of these individuals are please contact Cumbria Police or pass information anonymously through Crimestoppers.
Those currently wanted include:
Jordan Aston, 29 – sought in connection with a robbery on 23 September. Has links to Barrow.
Mark Young, 28 – wanted for recall to prison. Has links to Carlisle.
Phoenix Clark, 22 – wanted for recall to prison. Linked to Workington, Distington and Whitehaven.
Tinashe Wilson, 29 – wanted for breach of a warrant. Has connections to Cockermouth and Whitehaven.
Jack Ellis, 25 – wanted in relation to possession of an offensive weapon, malicious communication and breaching a court order following an incident on 24 November. Linked to Barrow.
Desmond Young, 32 – wanted for recall to prison. Has links to Carlisle.
Anthony Moorhead, 33 – wanted for recall to prison. Also linked to Carlisle.
Police confirmed that a 31-year-old woman and a 45-year-old man have since been arrested.
