Furness District Tractor Run Reaches £100,000 Fundraising Milestone.

The Furness & District Tractor Run has reached an impressive £100,000 fundraising milestone, marking a major achievement for the organisers, tractor drivers and supporters who have backed the event over the years.

The popular annual event brings together large numbers of tractors and supporters across the Furness area, creating a colourful spectacle on local roads while raising valuable funds for St Mary’s Hospice. According to St Mary’s Hospice, the tractor run has been raising money since 2019, with the £100,000 target finally coming within reach this year. Organisers had encouraged supporters to help push the total beyond the milestone ahead of the latest event.

The event has become an important part of the local fundraising calendar, with tractor drivers taking part to support hospice care and help provide vital services for people and families across the community.The 2026 tractor run took place on Sunday, September 6, with members of the public invited to support the event and see the convoy of tractors. St Mary’s Hospice thanked everyone involved in organising and supporting the fundraiser.
