Netflix star announces her own death in heartbreaking social media post

Criscilla Anderson has sadly died at the age of 45. The Netflix star announced her own passing in a moving message shared on social media.
Anderson, known for appearing in the Netflix reality series Country Ever After, died following a long battle with colon cancer. In a post shared through her friend Lindsey Villatoro’s account, she wrote: “My sweet community, if you’re reading this, I’ve finally slipped into the arms of Jesus peacefully and surrounded by love. Please don’t stay in the darkness of this moment. I fought hard and I loved deeply. I am not gone… I’m Home.”
She also addressed her children Ethan, Emmarie and Everleigh as well as her stepdaughter Savannah. “My babies… I am watching over you. When a moment feels warm, familiar, or too beautiful to be coincidence that’s me. I’m still mothering you. I’m still yours. #everybutterfly.”
She went on to thank the women in her life who supported her, saying they had “held her when she couldn’t stand,” taken her to appointments and made her laugh. She also expressed gratitude to her family for their unconditional love and urged them to take care of one another.
Criscilla was first diagnosed with colon cancer in 2018 and went into remission in 2021. The cancer returned in 2022.
Her ex-husband, singer Coffey Anderson, shared a tribute after her death, saying she embodied strength and resilience. “Criscilla defined strength and fighter like no other person on the planet,” he said. “Heaven gained a star today.”
