Classic Agatha Christie Mystery Set to Thrill Audiences in Grasmere
The Grasmere Players are preparing to captivate audiences with a dramatic new production of Agatha Christie’s renowned mystery And Then There Were None at Grasmere Village Hall.
Widely regarded as one of the greatest murder mysteries ever written, the play follows ten strangers who are invited to a remote island, only to find themselves trapped by secrets from their pasts. As suspicion grows and tensions rise, a chilling series of events unfolds.
Directors Matty Jackman and Paul Davies describe the production as an ambitious undertaking, featuring immersive staging, atmospheric lighting, and carefully crafted sound effects designed to bring Christie’s classic story vividly to life.
The directors said audiences can expect an evening filled with suspense, unexpected twists, and compelling performances from a talented local cast.
Performances will take place on June 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, and 13, with a special matinee performance scheduled for June 13. Tickets are priced at £12 for adults and £6 for those under 18, with availability online, at local ticket outlets, and at the venue subject to remaining capacity.
