Man Injured After Being Attacked by Out-of-Control Dog in Carlisle
A man has been injured following an incident involving an out-of-control dog in Carlisle, prompting a police investigation.
The attack happened at around 7:45pm on 10 April on Dalston Road. A 27-year-old local man suffered wounds to his leg after being bitten by a black crossbreed dog, believed to be similar to a Doberman.
Police said the dog was reported to have been dangerously out of control at the time of the incident. The owner is described as a white man, believed to be in his 40s or 50s, wearing yellow wellies, a green jacket, and black trousers.
Emergency services were called to the scene, and the injured man was treated for his injuries. The full extent of his condition has not been released.
Cumbria Police have launched an investigation and are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the attack or have any information about those involved.
