Ulverston Painter And Decorator Banned From Driving After A590 Crash.

A painter and decorator from Ulverston has been banned from driving after being involved in a crash on the A590 while over the drink-drive limit.

The case was dealt with by the courts following the incident, which involved the local man driving on the major road through South Cumbria. The A590 is an important route connecting communities including Ulverston, Barrow-in-Furness and Kendal, and is regularly used by commuters and other road users.

Drink-driving offences can result in serious consequences, particularly where a collision is involved. Drivers convicted of driving while over the legal alcohol limit can face a driving ban, a fine and, in more serious circumstances, imprisonment.
