Police Launch Appeal to Find Wanted Workington Man Who Missed Multiple Court Hearings
Police have issued an appeal to trace a wanted man from Workington after he failed to attend multiple court hearings. Officers are asking members of the public to help locate him as enquiries continue. They have also urged the man to surrender at the nearest police station.
The man has been identified as 28 year old Jordan Roche, who is wanted in connection with failing to appear before the courts. Cumbria Police said officers are actively trying to establish his whereabouts. Anyone who has information that could assist the investigation is being encouraged to come forward. Authorities stressed that any information received will be treated appropriately.
Police are asking anyone who has seen Roche or knows where he may be to contact them as soon as possible. Information can be passed to officers through the force's reporting channels or by calling 101. Anonymous information can also be provided through the independent charity Crimestoppers.
Officers have also made a direct appeal to Roche, urging him to hand himself in if he becomes aware of the public notice. Failing to attend court can lead to further legal consequences and additional enforcement action. Police say locating wanted individuals remains an important part of maintaining public confidence in the justice system.
The appeal forms part of ongoing efforts to locate people who are wanted by the courts and ensure they answer for outstanding legal matters. Investigators continue to follow up information from the public while encouraging anyone with relevant knowledge to get in touch.
Police have thanked the public for their continued support in assisting investigations and locating wanted individuals. They say community information often plays a vital role in helping officers trace those sought by the courts. Anyone with information is urged to contact police without delay.
