Police Appeal to Trace Carlisle Man Who Failed to Appear in Court
Police have launched an appeal to locate a man from Carlisle who is wanted after failing to appear at court.
Cumbria Police confirmed that the man, identified as Jordan Carney, did not attend a scheduled court hearing as required. Authorities are now seeking the public’s assistance in tracing his whereabouts.
Details regarding the original case linked to the court appearance have not been disclosed. However, failing to attend court when required is treated as a serious matter and can lead to further legal consequences.
Officers have urged anyone who sees Carney to contact emergency services immediately. Members of the public are advised not to approach him directly but instead report any sightings to police.
In addition, anyone with information that may assist in locating him is asked to get in touch using the non-emergency number 101.
The appeal forms part of ongoing efforts by Cumbria Police to ensure that individuals comply with court orders and attend hearings as required under the law.
Police enquiries remain ongoing as officers continue to work to locate the man and bring him before the court.
