Police act after reports of anti-social behaviour by youths on Carlisle street
Police have taken action following reports of anti-social behaviour involving youths on a street in Carlisle.
Officers said they were made aware of concerns raised by residents through a social media post about disruptive behaviour on Yewdale Road.
Neighbourhood policing teams responded to the reports and carried out checks in the area.
Police confirmed that those involved were identified and returned to their home addresses as part of efforts to address the situation and prevent further incidents.
The force said it remains committed to tackling anti-social behaviour and responding quickly to community concerns.
Officers added that they will continue to work with local residents and partners to monitor problem areas and ensure appropriate action is taken where necessary.
Police also thanked members of the public for reporting the issue directly and supporting ongoing efforts to reduce anti-social behaviour in the area.
