02 May 2026 Man Arrested After £11,000 Worth of Cocaine Found in Kendal Drugs Raid

A man has been arrested following a police drugs raid in Kendal that uncovered a significant quantity of cocaine.

Officers executed a search warrant at a property on Dockray Hall Road on Thursday, April 30, as part of an operation targeting serious and organised crime.

During the search, police discovered and seized cocaine with an estimated street value of £11,000.

A man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.

The operation was carried out by officers from Westmorland and Furness’s Community and Serious Organised Crime unit and forms part of Operation Alliance, an ongoing effort to tackle drug-related crime in the region.

Police say investigations remain ongoing as they continue efforts to disrupt illegal drug activity and protect local communities.
