Man Admits Role in Supplying Heroin, Cocaine and Cannabis

31 Mar 2026 Man Admits Role in Supplying Heroin, Cocaine and Cannabis

A 21-year-old man has admitted his involvement in the supply of heroin, cocaine and cannabis following his arrest in Carlisle.

Leon Ingledow appeared before magistrates after being detained by police over the weekend in connection with a separate suspected offence. During the arrest, officers discovered a quantity of cocaine hidden in his clothing.

Further investigation led to the seizure and analysis of a mobile phone, which revealed evidence linking him to the supply of multiple illegal substances, including heroin and cannabis.

In court, Ingledow pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of all three drugs. Prosecutors outlined his prior criminal record, which includes multiple convictions for various offences.

Defence representatives stated that while Ingledow accepted his involvement, the scale of the drug activity appeared to be relatively limited rather than part of a large operation.

However, the presiding judge indicated the case was more serious than suitable for a magistrates’ court, describing it as consistent with street-level dealing. The matter has now been referred to the Crown Court for sentencing.

Ingledow, who was granted conditional bail, is scheduled to appear before the higher court at a later date, where a full sentencing decision will be made
