Four people travelling to the Lake District included drug dealer

​A group of four individuals travelling to the Lake District came to the attention of police during a routine stop, which later uncovered a drug-related offence.

Officers carried out checks on the vehicle and its occupants, during which suspicious behaviour raised concerns. Following further investigation, it was revealed that one member of the group had links to drug dealing activities.

Police conducted a search and found illegal substances, confirming their suspicions. The individual was subsequently arrested and taken into custody for questioning.

Authorities stated that the stop was part of ongoing efforts to tackle drug crime and ensure public safety in popular tourist areas like the Lake District.
