Four Jailed for Major Drug Dealing Operation in West Cumbria

02 May 2026 Four Jailed for Major Drug Dealing Operation in West Cumbria

Four people have been jailed for their involvement in a drug dealing operation in West Cumbria following a court hearing at Carlisle Crown Court.

Curtis Kirkbride, 36, received the longest sentence of seven years and two months for conspiracy to supply cocaine. Alisia Cameron, 29, was jailed for four years and four months for two counts of the same offence, while Stephanie Moffatt, 34, was sentenced to four years. Bradley Dryden, 28, was also given four years and four months after being found guilty of supplying cocaine and ketamine.

All four defendants pleaded guilty to the charges.

The case stems from a police raid carried out on September 22, 2022, at a property in Cambridge Road, Whitehaven. Officers discovered cocaine, weighing equipment, packaging materials, and mobile phones at the address, which was linked to Cameron and Moffatt.

Subsequent investigations revealed the group had been working together to supply drugs in the area. Police also uncovered evidence that Kirkbride had continued coordinating the operation from prison, using multiple mobile phones to communicate with others, including Dryden.

Authorities said further analysis of seized phones and financial records showed extensive involvement in drug distribution, including transactions linked to the purchase and sale of controlled substances.

The case highlights ongoing efforts by law enforcement to disrupt organised drug networks and reduce the impact of illegal substances on local communities.
