Biker seriously injured in Hartside Pass crash
A biker has been seriously injured in a road crash on Hartside Pass in Cumbria, emergency services have confirmed.
The collision happened on the A686 between Melmerby and the summit of the pass near the junction for Renwick at around 12.10pm on Wednesday. A white Citroen C3 and a green Honda motorcycle were involved in the crash.
Paramedics attended the scene and the motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries. At this stage police have not released further details about the rider’s condition.
