Story Homes Raises Over £26,000 for Air Ambulance Charities
Housebuilder Story Homes has successfully raised over £26,000 for two major air ambulance charities, highlighting the impact of corporate fundraising in supporting emergency medical services.
The funds were collected over a 12-month period and will be shared equally between the Great North Air Ambulance Service and the Northwest Air Ambulance Charity. Employees from the company’s offices and construction sites across Cumbria, Scotland, the Northeast and Northwest took part in a wide range of activities to reach the total.
Fundraising initiatives included charity golf days, bake sales, dress-down days and participation in national running events, demonstrating strong engagement from staff across the organisation.
Company representatives expressed pride in the achievement, noting that the fundraising effort reflects the dedication and generosity of their teams. They also emphasized the importance of supporting air ambulance services, which provide rapid response in critical, life-threatening situations.
Both charities welcomed the contribution, stressing that donations play a crucial role in maintaining their operations, including funding aircraft, crews and critical care services. These services operate year-round and rely heavily on public and corporate support to continue saving lives.
Story Homes has confirmed it will continue its partnership with the two charities for another year, aiming to build on the success of its fundraising efforts and further contribute to vital emergency care services.
