Adult star Bonnie Blue arrested and may face 15 years in Bali prison
Pornographic content creator Bonnie Blue has been arrested in Bali and could face a lengthy prison sentence under Indonesia’s strict anti-pornography laws.
Blue, whose real name is Tia Billinger, previously gained attention in 2024 after claiming to have slept with 1,000 men in 24 hours and has since become known for extreme publicity stunts linked to her online adult content.
Despite Indonesia’s tough stance on pornography, she travelled to Bali with her so-called “BangBus”, allegedly intending to film explicit material during schoolies week, a period when many Australian school leavers visit the island to celebrate the end of their exams.
Indonesian law allows for prison sentences of up to 15 years for producing or distributing pornographic content, along with potential fines of up to £270,000.
Blue was arrested on 4 December after police raided a rented property believed to have been used for filming. Although she has been released from custody, authorities have withheld her passport and she is expected to be questioned again in the coming days, ITV News reports.
Seventeen male tourists from the UK and Australia, aged 19 to 40, were also arrested during the raid. Fourteen Australians have since been released without charge, while two British nationals and one Australian remain in custody.
Police say they seized school-themed outfits, cameras, condoms, flash drives, lubricant, pink necklaces and Viagra tablets during the operation.
Authorities were also made aware of Blue’s intentions after she openly posted about her trip on social media, telling followers: “Hey boys, those that’re going to Schoolies and to those who are barely legal, cannot wait to meet you – and I’m in Bali, so you know exactly what that means.”
Channel 4 recently released a documentary about Blue titled 1000 Men and Me : The Bonnie Blue Story, and the events in Bali may form the basis of further coverage.
