Carlisle Nando’s Reopens Following Revamp.
Nando’s in Carlisle has reopened following a major refurbishment, bringing an updated look and several new features to the popular restaurant.
The restaurant has increased its capacity and can now accommodate 92 customers indoors and a further 12 outdoors, providing additional space for diners. As part of the revamp, the restaurant has also introduced a RUBRO machine, allowing customers to enjoy bottomless iced tea alongside new drinks options.
The updated menu now includes frozen cocktails, Sagres on tap and hot drinks, adding to the range available at the Carlisle restaurant. The refurbishment has also placed a strong emphasis on Nando’s Southern African heritage, with the restaurant featuring work from South African artists and designers.
Bespoke fabrics and artwork have been incorporated throughout the restaurant, while lighting and furniture supplied by Ashanti Designs form part of the new interior. The changes are designed to give customers a more distinctive dining environment while retaining the restaurant's familiar identity.
The Carlisle restaurant's general manager, Steven Atkinson, said the team was pleased to reopen following the refurbishment and was looking forward to welcoming customers back.The reopening comes as restaurants and hospitality businesses continue to invest in their premises to improve the customer experience and attract visitors.
For Carlisle, the updated restaurant provides another refreshed dining option in the city centre, with the increased capacity expected to help accommodate more customers.
