Call of Duty-type video filmed by workers at Sellafield site sparks investigation

Call of Duty-type video filmed by workers at Sellafield site sparks investigation

An investigation has been launched after a Call of Duty-type video was filmed and shared online by workers at the Sellafield site.
The short video, which was shared across social media, shows five people wearing hi-vis acting out scenes for a trailer that appears to be inspired by a war video game or film.
Using power tools as guns, rolling around and interrogating a tied-up suspect, the one minute 16 second video was filmed in a building on the site.

It is not known which company they work for on the site.
Photography and video is highly restricted at the site and requires prior authorisation and permits before it can go ahead.
Sellafield Ltd, which runs the site, said: “We are aware of a video featuring a group of our employees involved in conduct which doesn’t meet the standards we expect.
“We are currently investigating, and we will take action as appropriate.”
