Multiple People Seriously Injured Following Major Crash on A591 Near Thirlmere
A major emergency response was launched after a serious road traffic collision on the A591 near Thirlmere left multiple people injured and caused severe disruption for motorists travelling through the Lake District.
The crash happened on the busy stretch of road between Wythburn and Thirlspot, close to the Thirlmere reservoir, with police, paramedics and fire crews called to the scene shortly after the incident was reported.
